Tie off, leave a long tail for sewing front panels to back panel.
Assembly
Block your panels to the measurements above. I did a light steam block.
Place your panels together, RS facing. Using the long tail of yarn on
your front panel and your preferred sewing method, seam the last row of
your front panel to the last row of your back panel. Repeat with second
front panel. I like to use my hook and Sl St across.
Next, we are going to measure out the arm hole openings and seam the
sides. Using your measuring tape, measure from the top shoulder seam,
down the side of the cardigan 6.5(7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5)”. Place
a SM through both panels to hold your spot. Make sure your front and
back panel are even and that the SM is placed in the same row. Repeat
on the other side, making sure your SM is the same as the first. Using
your preferred method of seaming, sew from the bottom of the cardigan up to the SM. Repeat on other side. I used my hook and Sl St up the
sides.
Sleeves
Turn your cardigan correct side out so that your seams are now on the
inside. Join yarn with a Sl St to the left of the side seam at the under
arm.
Round 1: Ch 2 (does not count), Dc evenly around the opening of the
arm hole. Join to the first Dc made with a Sl St. Exact St count is not
crucial here, just make sure your Sts are evenly distributed and that you
end with an even St count.
Round 2: Ch 2, *Fpdc, Bpdc* repeat around, join to first Dc with a Sl
St.
Tie off, repeat on other side. Be sure you work the same amount of Dc
Sts that you did on the first sleeve.
Trim
With your cardigan still correct side out, join yarn with a Sl St to the
bottom corner of the left front panel (right when worn). Ch 1, Work Sc
Sts evenly up the side of the cardigan, across the back neckline and
down the other side.
When you reach the bottom corner, tie off.
Weave in all ends.
